FREE FREE

Today was the last day of the B&N free books and we took our list over and recieved some amazing books. Plus right now at B&N sign up for the kids club and recieve more FREE stuff. Recently I found some treasures at a friends book club. Jenny has a friend that sells amazing USBOURNE books. They are very well made and most of them have library bindings and I love how they have 4 or 5 books in one. So if your in need of a catalog ask me or Jenny and I'm sure you will fall in love with them too. Remember tomorrow is library day! Look forward to seeing you and listening to wonderful Mrs. Mann at the St. George Library.

Septembers Meeting

Super fun pool book club meeting! Usually pools and books don't mix but this time, they did we all had alot of fun sharing snacks and talking about the many books we like to read. Nice to have a range of great topics in our book club. Some ladies like Sci Fi, some Romance others History. But all of us in our club come to one agreement getting together and talking about books is fun. So on the romance note I found out, if you want a clean fun wonderful romance read that author Marcia Lynn McClure is a wonderful writer! So check her books outThe Time of Aspen Falls Thanks Kari for the great reviews about this author! Another book that people we talking about is one myself I would love to read, Mary recommended it, this book is historical fiction and seems very interesting. Heck just the cover gets your mind going! Thanks Mary!  Last but not least is one that I'm sure you will all hear about soon because myself and Jenny are going to read it, The Book Thief
The Book ThiefThis book I can't wait to read I bought it about 2 months ago from B&N and haven't had the time to devote yet but maybe Jenny will read it first and tell me how it is in the book reviews. This is a historical fiction book on the holocaust, seems like it is based on some true events but added drama.  We had a great time, Saw a new face Kari ( well new to the book review club)! Hopefully we will be seeing her at every meeting. The pool was a great place to cool off and get some girl time! And I have to close with a pool pic for memories. Thanks Ladies it was fun and hope to see our club grow!!!
Hope to get reading soon, now that summer is almost over! This pic is a great one!
