I have come to the conclusion that Judith Merkle Riley is now my favorite author. I'm knee deep into my 2nd book on the trilogy with the Margaret of Ashbury novels and it's a wonderful experience. She is a excellent writer and I enjoy every chapter. The 3rd book of the trilogy is The Water Devil, and come to find out it actually a hard book to get. I went to the book store and they are sold out, then amazon where it is back ordered. The libraries don't have it and now I'm hoping to get the book close to when I finish this one. So in researching this author now I have yet another book from her that is on my get it, list! Well 2 books, that are also hard to get. A serpent in the Garden, and The Master of all desires. She is a great author that puts fantasy into historical fiction and adds a bit of drama and facts. Loving it!! So curiosity? What is your favorite author? Leave a comment and let me know? Maybe it will get me hooked, hoping to get you hooked on Judith Merkle Riley! Also on my to read list is Between the Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys and Entwined by Heather Dixon. Both those books are young adult. I usually don't read young adult but after reading For Freedom. I have been loving them. Happy Reading!!!

Mine right now is probably Janette Rallison. She's a YA lds author. Her books aren't about LDS people though (although maybe her first book is). But I enjoy her books because they're clean reads and funny. Relaxing reading.
ReplyDeleteOh I be checking that author out its great to find new ones all the time and clean and LDS. I like books that you feel great about reading after. Thanks Tamir
